Tetsa River Campground Bookings
Located 96.2 kilometres north of Fort Nelson just past Steamboat Mountain, you will find the well-groomed Tetsa River Regional Park with trails for activities such as hiking, biking and horseback riding. Don’t forget your camera!
Tetsa River Regional Campground is located a few kilometres south of Tetsa River Lodge and has 25 unserviced campsites that may be reserved in advance for $20/night including tax and firewood, online or by contacting the Northern Rockies Regional Recreation Centre at 250.774.2541 option 1. It is a popular location for locals on the weekend due to its proximity to Fort Nelson.
- From May to October the campground is operated by a contractor.
- Sites 1-13 can accommodate larger units and motorhomes; Sites 17-25 can accommodate units up to a maximum of 27 feet.
- Camping is available both by drop-in and reservations. Reservations are available online and by contacting the Northern Rockies Regional Recreation Centre at 250.774.2541 option 1.
- If dropping in to camp overnight, please take note of campsites that have been marked as reserved; there will be a reservation tag on the site’s post.
- UPDATE: As of March 2023, The permit for the hand pump well now falls under a non-potable permit. The water can be used for non-domestic purposes and general sanitation only. The water is non potable and not fit for human consumption
