Art Fraser Park is a popular multi-use space bordered by the Alaska Highway, Fort Nelson Heritage Museum and 55 Street, with access from the Alaska Highway boulevard and 55 Street. Beside the playspace there is a treed area for play and shade with picnic tables. Art Fraser Park contains the following amenities:

  • Playspace contains a large play module, a small play module, a hippo climbing toy, a small house play center, dinosaur and grasshopper rocking toys, a small two seat tot swing-set, a large four seat swing-set, a sand box, gazebo and bench and picnic table seating
  • Large Play Module has a slide, a rope ladder, monkey bars, and rings
  • Small Play Module has two slides, a rope ladder and a fireman’s pole
  • Ball Diamonds: two full-sized baseball diamonds with bleacher seating and covered dugouts
  • Basketball: a full-sized basketball court
  • Tennis Courts: two full-sized tennis courts
  • Volleyball: two full-sized beach volleyball courts
  • Water Spray Park: open during the summer months
  • Washrooms: The park also includes three plumbed washrooms that are open during the summer months and one outhouse that is open year round
