- Candidate Nominations Open - Sept. 1, 2026
- Candidate Nominations Close - Sept. 11, 2026
- Campaign period starts - Sept. 19, 2026
- All Candidates Meeting - Sept. 29, 2026 - Phoenix Theatre - 7 pm
- Advance Voting - Oct. 7, 2026 (8 am -8 pm)
- General Voting Day - Oct. 17, 2026 (8 am - 8 pm)

Candidate Information
The Fort Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce will host a neutral online repository of candidate profiles to provide voters with an accessible source of candidate information. Candidate participation is voluntary.
Candidates may submit an optional photograph, and a statement of up to 1,000 characters, including contact details (email, website, phone).
Submissions must be received by the end of the nomination period (Sept 1–11, 2026) and may be sent using the digital form or by returning the hard‑copy Candidate Profile Form to the Chamber office or by email.
Profiles must be biographical in nature; political advocacy, campaign commentary, or fundraising material will not be accepted.
