How to complete your nomination package (quick guide)

  1. Get the official nomination package from the Municipal Office or request it to be emailed via [email protected]. 
  2. Confirm you’re eligible (residency and other qualifications). The candidate residency deadline is March 10, 2026 — check the package for further rules. 
  3. Fill the Nomination Form:
    • Print your name exactly as you want it on the ballot.
    • Provide full contact details and address as requested.
    • Sign where indicated. Some forms will require the signature to be witnessed or signed in front of an election official — follow the package instructions. 
  4. Nominators: obtain the required number of nominators (minimum of 2). Nominators must be electors of the NRRM and will need to sign and provide their address.
  5. Consent and declarations: complete and sign any consent-to-nomination or declaration-of-qualifications forms included.
  6. Proof of ID/address: bring acceptable ID for verification. 
  7. Submit in person: deliver your completed package during published office hours (8:30 am - 4:30 pm) before Sept 11, 2026. If you need to withdraw, submit a withdrawal request by Friday, September 18.
