Northern Rockies Fire Rescue and the BC Wildfire Service will be conducting 2 prescribed fires to remove wildfire fuel hazards and for training on Tuesday May 12th. Burns are subject to favourable conditions.
The first will be on undeveloped lots on the South side of the Alaska Hwy and East of Cordova Way, across the road from the Chevron Gas Station. The second will be on the North side of the Airport Connector on the undeveloped lot West of and adjacent to the Motocross track.
Smoke may be visible during these operations. ATV traffic will be restricted within the burn operations.
