With the help of aerial imagery, the EOC has been able to confirm that the ice backed up west of the Muskwa Bridge is of a considerable size and still poses a risk of rapid rises in the river level at areas downstream. The Province will be reviewing the information collected today to prepare a flood assessment at which point more information will be provided.
Please continue to avoid all river areas at this time.
