Northern Rockies Regional Municipality - Notice of Lease and Partnering Agreement - 5500 Alaska Highway 

This notice is issued to meet the Municipality’s obligations under the Community Charter and to ensure transparency about municipal partnership and lease arrangements.

The Municipality and the Fort Nelson District Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) have entered a partnering agreement under which the Chamber will operate and manage the Visitor Centre on behalf of the Municipality; the Municipality grants a lease for dedicated office space and pays an annual Service Fee of $100,000 CAD (plus GST) in return for services and reporting as set out in the Agreement. The Lease for dedicated Premises (96.3 m2) and the schedules (Services, equipment, site plan, FOIPPA obligations) form part of the Agreement.
