Come and join us and other WorkBC Centre’s across the province as we celebrate BC’s Disability Employment Month, a time to recognize people with disabilities across the BC workforce and the employers/organizations who pave the way in supporting them. People with disabilities play a significant role in BC’s workforce and hiring them is good for business!
To celebrate this year, the Fort Nelson WorkBC Centre will be hosting an “Escape the Stigma of Disability Employment” ESCAPE ROOM in partnership with the Fort Nelson Public Library on September 14th! Join us as we solve puzzles and escape the room, all with a disability employment theme of course!
Where: The Fort Nelson Public Library (5319 50th Ave South A2)
When: 12pm – 6:30pm
Registration is required*, please call the library to book your groups time to play! (250-774-6777).
Don’t have a group? Don’t worry about it! Call the library and let them know, they will help!
*please note that at least one player per group has to be 16 years of age or older.
Need an accessible ride? We’ve got you covered!
The Northern Rockies Senior’s Society Bus will be running for us FOR FREE on event day!
Register for a game time and then give the bus a call and let them know you would like a ride! (250-500-2597).

Drop in to the WorkBC Centre at 5008 49th Ave. ANYTIME during the month of September. Just by visiting with us you can enter your name to win! You can also visit the Fort Nelson Public Library throughout the month and complete our feedback challenge! Anonymously tell us your experiences working as a person with a disability, working with those with disabilities, or hiring/employing those with disabilities and enter to win!
