The festival venue is on our vibrant town street, parallel to the Alaskan Highway to draw locals and those passing through, with a free engaging event that provides a fun opportunity to engage in culture and many forms of art. The event's diverse arts and culture displays, interactive activities, and live music performances are the attractions.
The street festival is our primary opportunity to showcase local Indigenous and non-indigenous arts in the community. The festival has local music, stage performances, historical presentations, shared traditions, live painting, artisan handmade goods, artist exhibitions, collaborative community paintings, fun interactive contests, and artful activities. We create a focus for seeking vendors of all art forms and culture expressions to showcase our diverse community that encourages the community's connection with the artists and each other.
