Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1st, Northern Rockies Fire Rescue and the BC Wildfire Service will be conducting controlled pile burns west of Fort Nelson, along the Alaska Highway toward Parker Lake, beside the Parker Lake roadway, and on the Old Alaska Highway near the Pipeline Bypass Road. 

Smoke may be visible during these operations. 

Parker Lake Road will be closed for safety during this time.
