The Finance Department maintains the Regional Municipality's financial health.  Its tasks include financial planning, budget preparation and analysis, cash management, accounting and payroll, accounts payable and receivable, , property tax and utility billing and legislated financial reporting........

Property Taxes

Property owners within the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality pay taxes directly to the municipality.  For more information on property taxes visit our Property Tax page.

Utility Billing

Water, sewer and residential garbage collection services are not billed with property taxes.  

Residential utility bills are issued quarterly (4 times per year) in advance, with payment due by the end of the quarter.

Commercial utility bills are issued at the end of each quarter, with payment due by the end of the next quarter.
