The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) is working with Deloitte LLP to create an Economic Diversification Strategy.
This Strategy will be a clear, practical roadmap for growth over the next five years and beyond. It will help ensure our community remains strong, resilient, and full of opportunities for residents and businesses.
Why it matters
A strong Economic Diversification Strategy aims to provide a clear roadmap to:
- Improve quality of life and livability in our community
- Support steady economic growth and transformation
- Create good local jobs and attract investment
- Build a stronger tax base to reinvest in services and infrastructure
- Give residents and businesses a shared vision for the future
We’re asking three simple but important questions:
- Where are we now?
- Where do we want to go?
- How do we get there?
Have your say
We’re inviting community members, businesses, and organizations to take part in sector workshops. Your ideas, experiences, and concerns will help shape the final Strategy and ensure it reflects local priorities.
