Snow Hauling Permit Reminder

With the recent heavy snowfall, the NRRM reminds contractors of the permit requirements and the authorized snow dump location for this winter season.

Location:
  • The only authorized municipal snow dump is at the Water Treatment Plant on Lagoon Rd (past the main entrance).
  • No other municipal property may be used for dumping. Dumping on private property is the hauler’s responsibility.

Permit & Timeframe:

  • Permits are issued by the Public Works Department for the season.
  • Verify the issue/expiry date on your permit before hauling.

Hauler Responsibilities:

  • Push snow into large piles to maximize space.
  • Follow all permit guidelines.
  • Non-compliance may result in permit revocation and invoicing for associated costs.

  • Ensure all drivers and subcontractors using your permit are aware of these conditions and the dump location.
