Rural Road Traffic Count Studies
Residents are advised that beginning the week of July 9th, traffic count studies will commence on various areas throughout the rural road network. This data is being collected in part of the NRRM’s rural road asset management plan to establish road user utilization numbers for these rural roads. Drivers may notice monitoring equipment and personnel on roadways throughout the network. Data collection will consist of radar based equipment and personnel performing hand counts of passing traffic. There will be no road user impact to the rural road system during this time.
