In-Town Parks & Playgrounds Phased Official Openings Starting June 4, 2020

 With warmer weather, longer days and things beginning to reopen after the past few months, at the direction of Mayor and Council outdoor spaces will be the top priority to officially reopen for use.  Taking a phased approach to reopen parks and greenspaces first, residents will see access opened up this week and next. Other areas such as volleyball, basketball and the Rotary Spray Park will begin to open next in alignment with the guidelines and recommendations issued by the Province of BC.  We will continue to communicate the status of the various parks and spaces as reopening occurs.  Check back or here for updates, or venture out to your neighborhood parks – taking responsibility for your own health by staying 6 feet (2 meters) apart, washing your hands before and after touching surfaces, and bearing in mind that equipment is not cleaned or disinfected.
