FN Secondary Grade 9 Career Day
June 2, 2022 - Grade 9 students from FNSS were able to visit Northern Rockies Fire Rescue (NRFR) as part of Career Day. Firefighters Buck, Kerr and Leguerrier ran stations to show students different tools and gear that NRFR use on a regular basis. Mrs. Sparshu presented Chief Childs with a picture as a thank you for NRFR participation.

R.L. Angus Wheel Rodeo
June 14, 2022 - Northern Rockies Fire Rescue (NRFR), along with RCMP and BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) presented a “Wheel Rodeo” to R.L. Angus students grades 5 – 7. Students learned about the importance of helmet safety as well as road safety while riding anything with wheels. Students participated in an obstacle course and safety presentation. We hope to have this an annual event as it was well received by students and enjoyed by all agencies participating.
