The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) is taking the COVID-19 pandemic extremely seriously for the health and safety of all residents, workers and travellers and for future economic implications to the region. In doing so, we are maintaining a dedicated webpage to provide general information on the COVID-19 situation, endeavouring to keep it updated as quickly as possible. That said the situation is changing rapidly, even down to the hour in some situations. Please continue to check here for information.
The Fort Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce has also been working to ensure information is shared to businesses in our region. For specific business related information please see their website here.

- BC Chamber of Commerce had completed a Business Impact Survey which was providing feedback directly to the province in real time between Friday March 13th and Wednesday March 18. It is anticipated that another survey will be released to continue to record real time effects on businesses. Please keep your eye out for these opportunities in the future as it will be critical for the development of government programs and decisions moving forward.
The pages noted above are updated frequently as the COVID-19 situation progresses and various government-level decisions are made. This is a new situation that we aim to work through together to the best of our ability to mitigate negative repercussions. Please ensure you are reviewing reliable sources of information.
