FireSmart Coloring Contest

Welcome to our FireSmart Coloring Contest! Let's add some 'spark' to safety and 'brighten' up our communities with creativity!

Sheets available at the schools, public library, town office and the recreation centre on April 12th. 

Drop off at any pickup location or to the NRRM tradeshow booth by Sunday, May 5th.

 

 

Contest Rules:

Contest Duration: The coloring contest will begin on April 12, 2024 and end on Sunday, May the 5th, 2024.

Eligibility: Submissions will be placed into three groups:  

  1. Pre-Kindergarten
  2. Kindergarten to Grade 4
  3. Grade 5 to Grade 7.

How to Enter: Participants can pick up coloring sheets from their school/daycare, Public Library, Town Hall, FireSmart booth outside display at the tradeshow (May 4 & 5) or NRRM’s inside booth during tradeshow hours. Completed coloring sheets can be dropped off at the Library, Town Hall, or at the Tradeshow and deadline for submission is Sunday, May 5, 2024.

Coloring Guidelines: Coloring must be done by hand using crayon, pencil crayon or marker.

Bonus Entry: Participants who have completed the home FireSmart assessment are eligible for a bonus entry. Proof of completion must be provided upon submission.

Winner Selection: Winners will be selected by a panel of judges from NRRM. Entries will be judged based on creativity, adherence to theme, and overall artistic quality. The decision of the judges is final.

Winners will be announced the week of May 6th, 2024 and notified via phone.

Publicity: By entering the contest, participants grant NRRM the right to use their names, and entries for promotional purposes without further compensation or permission.

General Conditions:

Northern Rockies Regional Municipality reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these rules and the decisions of the judges.
