Charge North Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger

Installation has begun! The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality is looking forward to welcoming its first electric vehicle (EV) charging station! EV ownership is on the rise and expected to continue with the provincial CleanBC initiative. The installation of a local Level 2 EV Charging Station as part of Charge North, makes EV ownership more feasible and supports tourism. The NRRM’s Level 2 EV Charger will be located in the West parking lot of the Fort Nelson Recreation Centre, 5500 Alaska Highway, conveniently located near the Fort Nelson Visitor Information Centre, and Art Fraser Park.
