Lifeguard Instructor II/III (Full-time Permanent)

Qualifications
You should have graduated high school and have two to four years of experience working in pools or aquatic settings.
Applicants must possess and maintain the following certifications (refer to the job description and classifications for the complete list):
- National Lifeguard Pool & AMOA
- Standard First Aid CPR-C/AED
- Swim for Life Instructor
- Lifesaving Instructor
- Pool Operations Level 1 & 2
- Aquafit Instructor
Status/Hours/Shifts
Full-time; Permanent; 40 hours per week; shift work including early morning, evenings, and weekends are required.
Rate
Lifeguard/Instructor: $33.23 – $36.36 per hour as per the collective agreement. A 90% probationary rate may apply depending on the applicant’s current status. This is the 2024 rate and is subject to change.
