The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) is seeking dedicated individuals to join the Tourism Advisory Committee.

The Tourism Advisory Committee (“Committee”) is an advisory committee of Regional Council established with the purpose of providing experience, expertise, and recommendations to the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) through sharing insight, input, and feedback on tourism developments and tourism-related matters.

Considering the geographic size of the Regional Municipality, the number of industries making up the tourism sector, and the breadth of tourism knowledge and expertise within the Municipality, it is essential to engage a diversity of individuals.  Voting members will be appointed by Regional Council using a diversity matrix to ensure the Committee has representation from as many of the following sectors as possible:

  • Sightseeing & Adventure Tours
  • Sports and Recreation
  • Administrative and Support Services 
Application Requirements:

Please fill out the Expression of Interest form below if you would like to be considered for the Tourism Advisory Committee. Following a submission, staff will reach out to schedule a short meeting where we can learn more about you and you can ask any questions you may have about the Committee. Regional Council will review and appoint members to the Committee in late January.
