Community Futures' Peace Liard will present a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to Regional Council at the March 24 Council Meeting.
An MOU is a formal agreement that outlines what each party agrees to do. In this case, the MOU relates to the Rural Community Immigration Program (RCIP), which aims to support local workforce needs by connecting employers with skilled workers from abroad.
Council will be asked to review, sign, and acknowledge the MOU as part of the meeting.
Residents are encouraged to attend in person, via zoom or watch the livestream to learn more about how this agreement may impact local businesses, job seekers, and the community as a whole.
