It is with great sadness that we relay news of the passing of one of our dedicated firefighters, while travelling outside of the community to visit family for Christmas. This member served Fort Nelson and the Northern Rockies with unwavering commitment and bravery, embodying the spirit of service that defines the profession. Our deepest condolences go out to our Fire Rescue Department, the member’s family, loved ones, and friends.
We encourage you to consider carrying out an act of kindness, or sharing your time to volunteer for a great cause, as this member so often did. Please take care of yourselves and each other.
