NORTHERN ROCKIES REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY

NOTICE OF SURPLUS FUNDS

 To: Joline Kitchen

TAKE NOTICE that on September 25, 2023, the real property municipally described as 5332 43 Street and legally described as PID: 010-877-690, Lot 38 District Lot 1535 Peace River District Plan 18836 was sold at public auction.

 At the time of the sale, Joline Kitchen, held an undivided interest in the property described above. The redemption period expired on September 25, 2024. On September 25, 2024, the surplus from the tax sale became payable to Joline Kitchen in the amount of $2,208.27.

 Northern Rockies Regional Municipality will continue to hold the surplus for an additional three months, until July 25, 2025. If the surplus remains unclaimed three months after this publication under section 659 (5) of the Local Government Act, it must be transferred to the administrator of the BC Unclaimed Property Society under the Unclaimed Property Act, in accordance with section 659 (6) of the Local Government Act.
