Please be advised that the Public Works Department will begin the annual flushing program on the water distribution system starting today, September 17th, through Friday, September 26th
This program is important as it removes any sediment that might be in the water mains and it helps ensure the best possible water quality is maintained.
During this procedure, your water pressure may fluctuate, and the water might appear discoloured or cloudy. Though the water may appear discoloured, it remains safe to drink.
Residents are advised to run their taps until the water clears if they notice discoloration.
