Back to SearchI HEREBY GIVE NOTICE THAT ON MONDAY, October 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM, pursuant to Section 645 of the Local Government Act, the following properties will be offered for sale by public auction, unless the delinquent taxes plus interest are paid received before 9:00 am, October 7, 2024. The upset price shall be the lowest amount for which the said parcel of land and improvements thereon may be sold, and shall include:
- The total amount of delinquent taxes, including interest to date;
- The total amount of arrears taxes including interest to date;
- The amount of taxes including penalties incurred for the current year;
- Five Per Cent of the total of the foregoing amount;
- Land Registry fees.
Tax Sale to take place in the Bear Pit of the Municipal Office located at 5319 50th Avenue South.
Any person being declared the successful bidder must immediately pay by cash, money order or certified cheque a minimum of not less than the upset price. Any balance must be paid by cash, money order or certified cheque by 12:00 pm the same day. Failure to pay the balance will result in the property being offered for sale again at 10:00 am on the following day.

Prospective purchasers are urged to inspect the properties and make all necessary inquiries to municipal and other government departments, and in the case of strata lots to the strata corporation, to determine the existence of any bylaws, restrictions, charges or other conditions which may affect the value or suitability of the property.
The purchase of a tax sale property is subject to tax under the Property Transfer Tax Act on the fair market value of the property.
