Public Notice: Permissive Tax Exemption Applications Being Accepted - 2023 Taxation Year

The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) is now accepting applications for permissive tax exemptions for the 2023 taxation year. A permissive tax exemption is a means for Council to support non-profit organizations within the community which further Council’s objectives of enhancing quality of life (economic, social, cultural) and delivering services economically.

Coal River Evacuation Alert

UPDATE: July 3, 2022 at 11:30. The Evacuation Alert for the Coal River area has been rescinded.
BC Wildfire has advised that Fire G90381 Coal River is now in a status of Being Held and the Evacuation Alert has been removed. You can continue to monitor the situation for the next couple of days by checking the BC Wildfire Dashboard as the situation can change again rapidly.
