Gravel Roads Dust Control Program

NR Fire Rescue in the Community

FN Secondary Grade 9 Career Day

June 2, 2022 - Grade 9 students from FNSS were able to visit Northern Rockies Fire Rescue (NRFR) as part of Career Day. Firefighters Buck, Kerr and Leguerrier ran stations to show students different tools and gear that NRFR use on a regular basis. Mrs. Sparshu presented Chief Childs with a picture as a thank you for NRFR participation.

National Indigenous Peoples Day June 21

June 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day.

This is a day to recognize and celebrate the cultures, traditions, languages and heritage of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples.

NRRM Mayor and Council join Indigenous Peoples from across the region including the Dene, Cree, Dunne Tsaa, Tsááʔçhé ne dane, Dene Tha’, Kaska and Métis Peoples in celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day. We encourage all residents to take part and celebrate!
