Weather & Wildfire Advisory - September 9, 2023

There are no wildfires currently threatening the community of Fort Nelson; however, wildfires in the north and eastern regions continue to grow with the continued warm and windy conditions. A shift in wind is causing increased wildifre activity in the eastern portion of the NRRM and is the cause for much of the smoke around Fort Nelson. All residents and visitors are urged to check the BC Wildfire map at https://wildfiresituation.nrs.gov.bc.ca/map

Did you know that any person owning or operating a business within the Northern Rockies Regional  Municipality (including Home-Based Businesses)  must obtain an ANNUAL Business Licence  to be prominently displayed in their place of business? Business Licences are required in accordance with the NRRM Business Licence and Regulation Bylaw.
