EVACUATION ORDER RESCINDS, EVACUATION ALERT REMAINS FOR THE KLUA LAKE AREA May 30, 2023 @ 1500 hrs
The Evacuation Order, pursuant to Section 12 (1) of the BC Emergency Program Act issued on May 29, 2023 to the area generally bounded on the south by the NRRM/PRRD boundary, has been rescinded.

An Evacuation Alert has been issued by the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC).
There is a wildfire located in the Tooga Creek area approximately 45 km from Kotcho Lake on the West, 68 km from the North West Territories border on the north and 10 km from the Alberta border on the east.
