Feedback Request: BC's draft Climate Preparedness and Adaptation Strategy

The Province has released B.C.;s draft Climate Preparedness and Adaptation Strategy which strengthens the capacity to anticipate and respond to impacts from climate change. The draft strategy highlights the actions being taken in 2021-22 and presents a suite of proposed actions for 2022-25.


Actions fall under four key pathways that work to strengthen our foundations, enhance community climate resilience, foster resilience of species and ecosystems, and advance a climate-ready economy and infrastructure.

Grant Funding Rebuilds Primary Runway at Northern Rockies Regional Airport

FORT NELSON – The Northern Rockies Regional Airport will be rehabilitating Runway 04-22, the primary runway, commencing Summer 2021 thanks to a Federal contribution under the Airports Capital Assistance Program (ACAP) funding 100% of the total project cost at $17,727,809.

This discolouration is due to naturally occurring organics and manganese in our raw water supply that have settled in the distribution lines.
