Liard River Hot Springs Open May 1

On May 1st, the Liard River Hot Springs campground and springs will be open.

While park staff look forward to welcoming you back to the park, please be mindful of the new COVID-19 policies that will be implemented for the 2021 operating season:

  • A limited number of people will be allowed in the hot springs at one time. Currently, the limit is set to 40 people.
  • All visitors must sign up at the day-use gatehouse for a specific timeslot to use the springs. Timeslots are currently 1 hour each.
    • Please note that you may need to wait for an available timeslot.
  • Anyone feeling ill or those who have been exposed to the virus should not travel to the park.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available and is encouraged to be used.

COVID-19 protocols may shift throughout the season – please be respectful of all posted signage and directions from staff.

Travel restrictions set out by the Provincial Health Officer are currently in place until May 25th. All British Columbians are to stay local and avoid non-essential travel.
