February 17 Webinar - Northeast BC: Resilience, Climate and the Future

Northeast BC: Resilience, Climate, and the Future
February 17 | 1:00-2:30 pm PST / 2:00-3:30 pm MST

Communities of Northeastern British Columbia have witnessed a number of extreme weather events and related impacts in recent years, such as flood, wildfire, and drought. It is important to have a good understanding of these impacts as well as the best practices to deal with them so that we can plan for a safe and stable future. Learn more in this webinar about the science behind climate change projections, regional projections for the Northeast, the vulnerabilities that Northeast communities face, and the resilience work that is being done on-the-ground by communities in the Northeast Climate Resilience Network to prepare for the future. Speakers include Kari Tyler and Arelia Schoeneberg of Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium, Erica Crawford of SHIFT Collaborative, and Cait Murphy of the Fraser Basin Council. Register for the webinar on February 17 here!
