The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) Tax Due Date is July 2, 2020.

For Classes 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8: Due date is July 2, 2020, and payments must be received on or before September 30, 2020.  Penalty will be applied on October 1, 2020.

Property owners within the NRRM pay taxes directly to the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality.
For all COVID-19 information regarding Municipalities and property taxes, refer to the Finances section of this website.

*OF NOTE TO PROPERTY OWNERS WHO ALSO HAVE ASSESSED (RURAL) PROPERTY IN REGIONAL DISTRICTS.
The NRRM IS A MUNICIPALITY and is governed by the Local Government Act, the Community Charter and associated regulations. The NRRM is not a Regional District, and is not considered to be part of a Regional District.  Properties within Regional Districts pay their taxes directly to the Province of BC, whereas properties within Municipalities pay their taxes directly to the Municipality (as is the case in the NRRM).  Further, the Province of BC allows for differing due dates for property taxes between Regional Districts and Municipalities.
