Public Feedback Sought: Re Vacant Recreation Centre Space

Regional Council wants to hear from you!

The Fort Nelson Rotary Club submitted a proposal for a sport activity centre comprised of 9-holes of mini golf, two bowling lanes and a pool table in the approximate 5,600 square foot vacant space inside the walking track at the Recreation Centre.  The construction of this facility would be funded through donations collected by the Rotary Club.   An analysis report on the proposal can be found online.

Regional Council wants to give the residents a chance to weigh in on the future use of this space.  If you would like to share your opinion on whether or not you support the Rotary Club’s proposal or if you have your own ideas on how you would like to see the space used (with consideration to funding sources and impacts on existing infrastructure), please send in your comments.
