Business Walk Update & Home-Based Business Open House

The Fort Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce and the Regional Municipality are pleased with the results and quality of open communication during the first Business Walks program.  Five teams of walkers went door to door to businesses in the downtown core and highway commercial zones to gather valuable information from the local business owners and managers on Tuesday, November 24th. A total of 52 surveys were completed by walkers  and additional surveys were left at an additional 35 businesses. The quality of conversations, honest feedback, detailed suggestions, and other insights provided by local business owners were fantastic.

If your business has not yet been surveyed, we would love to have your information and feedback. You can fill out a survey online here, at the Municipal office, at the Chamber of Commerce office or you can arrange an appointment for someone to come to you in person.

If you own a Home-Based Business, please attend the Home-Based Business Social & Open House on Tuesday, December 1st at the Municipal Hall at 6:00pm. Find the poster and more information here.

Surveys, interviews, and communications will continue for the next couple of weeks, with a final report being released in January, 2016.
