Spectra House Donation Celebration

A crowd gathered today at 5608 Simpson Trail to observe the formal donation ceremony of what will forever be known as the "Spectra House".  Spectra Energy Transmission, proud corporate citizens of the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality donated this house to the NRRM for use in the recruitment of doctors and other medical professionals. 

NRRM Mayor Bill Streeper gave a heartfelt speech, praising Spectra Energy for their positive role in the community and their long standing commitment to addressing the need for local doctors in Fort Nelson and the NRRM.

Chief Sharleen Wildeman and other members of the Fort Nelson First Nations were in attendance to express their gratitude to Spectra Energy and to also provide a traditional blessing on the house.
