The event includes a fire truck arriving with the pizza delivery driver (in a separate vehicle) and conducting a fire safety audit for working smoke alarms. If the customer has a working unit their pizza order (or portion thereof) is free.  If there is no working smoke alarm at the residence, fire crews will install a smoke alarm and the customer gets 1 free pizza.
