Offical Community Plan in Draft Review Stage

FORT NELSON – A draft Official Community Plan (OCP) has been prepared for the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality. The Northern Rockies Regional Council is now seeking the public's feedback on this draft document and its associated land-use maps to finalize the OCP project.

The Municipality is hosting a Public Meeting & Open House to present an overview of the Draft OCP, answer any questions you may have, and hear your comments/suggestions.

The Public Meeting & Open House will be held on the evening of Thursday, August 4, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. at the Municipal Hall, with the presentation beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Regional Council would like to thank all of the residents whose time and input have helped shape the OCP draft, and encourage everyone to come out and have their voices heard at the August 4th Public meeting.

The Draft OCP is available on the Municipal website, where you'll also find a comment card for you to provide your thoughts. Hard copies of the document are also available at Municipal Hall.
