  • Northern Rockies RCMP temporarily suspending civilian fingerprinting

    November 24, 2020

    With the new Covid-19 orders in place, the Northern Rockies RCMP Detachment has temporarily suspended taking Civilian Fingerprints to include the following areas; Immigration, Vulnerable Sector Check (Criminal Record Check), Record of Suspensions, Name Change, Employment and Volunteers.

  • Covid-19 Province-wide Restrictions

    November 20, 2020

    The Province of British Columbia has extended the current Provincial Health Orders (PHO) that were to expire on November 23. The PHOs will now be in effect until December 7, 2020. A new PHO requires that all individuals, places of work and businesses in B.C. must significantly reduce social interactions and travel. Masks are now mandatory in all public indoor and retail spaces in B.C.

    We are now offering additional public swim and skate times on Sundays and statutory holidays. As we adjust to new processes, we hope to gradually achieve efficiencies and increase the amount of time that various facilities are open to the public. As such, schedules are subject to change based on safety requirements and patron feedback.
