  • Public Notice: Parcel Tax (Frontage) Rolls

    April 3, 2020

    As per section 208 of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that Parcel Tax (Frontage) Rolls are now available for inspection on the NRRM website, by email or at the NRRM offices located at 5319 50th Avenue South, Fort Nelson BC, by appointment only (8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday), from April 2, 2020 to April 16, 2020.

  • Public Notice: Parks & Playgrounds CLOSED

    All playgrounds and parks have been closed, given the inability to sanitize the surfaces involved. Signs are posted and caution tape applied to equipment, parents should ensure that children are not using playgrounds.

At a broader level, this concern is shared by many communities in the northeast of BC and these concerns have been expressed very strongly to the Province.

    The health and safety of NRRM staff and the Northern Rockies community, as well as continued delivery of essential municipal services are top priorities during these uncertain times. Local authorities have been instructed to implement emergency plans; the NRRM's internal Emergency Operations Centre has been activated to effectively manage municipal response efforts to the rapidly changing COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Liard Hot Springs Provincial Park CLOSURE

    Please be advised that the Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park is CLOSED until further notice due to the current Provincial Health Officer Orders. There is no way to maintain the minimum 6 foot social distancing if passing anyone on the boardwalk or in the change rooms.
