  • Two Forestry-Related Announcements from the Province!

    Residents and area communities that have long fought to revive Fort Nelson’s forest sector are starting to realize the benefit of their efforts with the approval of the Fort Nelson Community Forest Agreement, in partnership with the British Columbia government. Effective July 16, 2019, the new allowable annual cut (AAC) for the Fort Nelson Timber Supply Area (TSA) is 2,582,350 cubic metres, announced Shane Berg, deputy chief forester.

  • Work Underway: Sewer Line Trenchless Rehabilitation 2019

    July 16, 2019

    Please be advised that beginning Thursday, July 17, 2019, there will be disruptions to traffic and sewer services in various locations in Fort Nelson, as work is conducted on the 2019 Trenchless Sewer Rehabilitation Program. There may be alternating single-lane traffic between Thursday, July 17th – July 26th at the locations indicated in order to complete the work.

  • Work Underway: Intersection Closed Mountainview Cr. / Churchill Ave.

    As part of the 2019 Trenchless Pipe Relining project, please note that access to Churchill Avenue from Mountainview Crescent will be closed to allow for excavation/construction (at the intersection of Churchill Ave & Minnaker Cres.) from 8:00am Tuesday, July 16 to 5:00pm Thursday, July 18. Local traffic may access Churchill Avenue from Tuchodi Avenue.
