OPEN subject to maximum occupancy and other provincial restrictions. Advance registration is required.

Landfill

Due to COVID-19 special measures are in place and the landfill will ONLY accept debit/credit payments (no cash).

Special Hours: The first hour of each day (8:30am-9:30am) will be limited to patrons that are over 55 or immunocompromised.

Northern Rockies Regional Airport

The Northern Rockies Regional Airport will ONLY be open to passengers that have flights arriving or departing that day and will be closed to all other general public until further notice.

Maintenance Shop - Closed to the Public

Parks/Campgrounds Liard Hot Springs Provincial Park: 

Liard River Hot Springs Park will be opening on May 1st. Things are going to be different this season and there will be new required COVID-19 hot pool policies.

  • All visitors entering the Park will have to do a COVID-19 Self-Assessment
  • There will be a limited number of people allowed at the hot springs at one time
  • All visitors will need to sign up for a time slot
  • This is going to be a big change and visitors should be patient.  These new procedures are necessary in order to open the hot pools.

Liard River Hot Springs Park is also the first provincial park to have an Electric Wildlife Fence installed to reduce human-wildlife interactions. More information will be available soon.

OPEN: During the first hour of business, vulnerable citizens including seniors and people who have underlying health conditions or compromised immune systems will now receive priority service. Visit Service BC Book an Appointment or call 250 774-5555
