On May 27, the BC government announced the extension of the provincial state of emergency through the end of day on June 9, 2020, making this the longest state of emergency in BC’s history.

The two week extension will support continued coordination of BC’s COVID-19 response as businesses and communities work through phase 2 of BC’s Restart Plan

Thank you for continuing to practice physical distancing when out and about in the NRRM and Fort Nelson. Continued physical distancing, hand-washing and staying home, even with mild symptoms, will help British Columbia move towards Phase 3 of the province’s Restart plan as soon as possible.
