Northern Rockies Regional Municipality

My name is Tanner Whidden, I was born in Fort Nelson in 1984, my family and I moved away until 1991, and since then I have been proud to call Fort Nelson my home.  I have represented Fort Nelson Minor Hockey from mites up to midget where we brought home the banner as the Provincial Champions.  I have also represented the Fort Nelson Secondary School, in a multitude of sports including: golf, track and field and wrestling.  I was involved in the design, fundraising, and building of the Fort Nelson Skate Park.

I went to college at Grant MacEwan in Edmonton, where I received my Management Studies Diploma.  Following college, I travelled to Australia and South East Asia for nine months, the trip opened my eyes to the different cultures and the diversity this world offers.  My career brought me back to Fort Nelson and into the Oil and Gas industry where I worked my way up, from an equipment operator to a dispatcher, into a manager with a trucking company in Fort Nelson.  I have over ten years of management experience and enjoy working with people.  I look forward to serving the constituents of the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality.
