Tetsa River

Located at approximately Mile 370 (Kilometre 590) of the Alaska Highway, this small community consists of a regional campground operated by the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality and a year-round service station. The community offers fuel services, dining, shopping and baking year-round, with the addition of camping and lodging through the summer.

Tetsa River area offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities to allow you to immerse yourself in the nature surrounding you. Here you will find trails for hiking , biking and horseback riding as well as great fishing opportunities. Tetsa River Regional Campground is located a few kilometres south of Tetsa River Lodge and has 25 unserviced campsites that may be reserved in advance.  It is a popular location for locals on the weekend due to its proximity to Fort Nelson.  There is also a small recreational subdivision adjacent to the campground.

Tetsa River Lodge is a family-run facility with gas, camping spots, a lodge and plenty of fresh cinnamon buns.
