Northern Rockies Regional Municipality

Muncho Lake

Renowned for its jade green colour, this beautiful lake extends over 7.5miles (12 kilometres), the majority of which the highway follows along the shoreline. This deep, cold glacier lake is a haven for fishing and boating and is a key launch point for many of the region’s vacation activities including camping, fly in fishing, hunting, or remote cabin stays, flight seeing tours, and horseback tours within the Muskwa Kechika Management area.

This community offers camping facilities, accommodations, restaurants and fuel services.  This is a favorite stop for visitors and Northern Rockies residents alike.
