Landfill Tipping Fee Increase

Please be advised that as of February 14th, 2012, the new Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) Landfill Tipping Fees and Regulations Bylaw No. 69/12 will be implemented. What this means is that the Tipping Fees at the NRRM Landfill site will be increased from the existing 1999 rates, to $40/ton from the previously charged $15 for residential and $25 for commercial.
Please note that the minimum tipping fee for small loads will be left unchanged at $5/load but will be increased appropriately when mandatory household garbage collection is implemented.
