Airport Emergency Exercise

Notice to Residents
The Northern Rockies Regional Airport will be conducting an emergency simulation exercise at the airport on August 26th, 2012 from 10am until noon. The purpose of this exercise is to test the airport and various agencies' response to an emergency at the airport. This exercise will include the use of normal emergency response vehicles such as police, fire and ambulance and the use of emergency lights and sirens. Other agencies such as Emergency Social Services and the Fort Nelson Hospital will also be involved. If a real emergency occurs while the exercise is being conducted, the appropriate first responders will leave the exercise and respond to the actual emergency.
