HRB Producers Group wins Stewardship Award

The NRRM is pleased with the collaboration that the Producers Group has demonstrated in the Horn River Basin, and looks forward to continued improvement in their practices in order to "Get it Right" for local employment, socio-economic impact, and environmental initiatives."The Producers Group has communicated often and well with Regional Council on their development plans," quotes Mayor Bill Streeper. "Their efforts have not only benefited the community and economy of Fort Nelson, but their example will improve how these companies operate in other communities as well. Now that they've set the bar this high, we look forward to even greater accomplishments that their close cooperation can achieve in years to come."
