Parks, Playgrounds & Playing Fields
Art Fraser Memorial Park: This park contains two baseball diamonds, a children's park, picnic tables and fire pits, volleyball and tennis courts, the Rotary Spray Park and washroom facilities.
Skateboard Park: Constructed with recreational needs of the community's youth in mind, the skateboard park is conveniently located adjacent to the Recreation Centre on Simpson Trail.
Gairdner Park: This is a child/youth oriented park containing a variety of children's play equipment as well as a small basketball court.
Klondike Park: This is a child oriented park containing a variety of children's play equipment.
Bob Price Memorial Park: A beautiful green space park including a gazebo and benches. This park can be booked for small weddings in the summer months. Call the Rec Dept (250) 774-2541 for more details.
Aspen Crescent Park: A fun children's playground equipment and outdoor basketball court.
Poplar Avenue Park: An undeveloped area; plans will include development as leveled green spaces.
Midtown Park: An undeveloped area; plans will include development as leveled green spaces.
Demonstration Forest: Natural open spaces with trails throughout suitable for hiking, biking, or cross-country skiing in the winter months. Educational signage highlights features of this Fort Nelson Lowlands Ecosystem.
Gary Giffin Memorial Park: A child oriented park containing a variety of children's play equipment as well as picnic tables.
Mile 295 Park: A baseball diamond and children's playground equipment.
Community Trail Phase 1: Phase 1 is a 4770 m long by 3 m wide paved, non-motorized trail.
