Annual Whatchamacallit September 9

Community registration for fitness, dance, hockey, skating and other youth clubs will all be at this great event!  There will be goods for sale as well as information on local non-profit organizations! 

 

Location:         NRRRC - Community Hall

Cost:                 Free Admission - $15.00 per table                           

Date: Saturday, September 9 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Just for the Health of It—Half Marathon & Fun Run

September 23

Join the Recreation Department & Endurance in the sixth annual Half Marathon & Fun Run!  Enjoy a run/walk on the community trail with the whole family - including the dog!  There will be events for all ages, free concession items and great “giveaways”.  Registration closes on September 22nd at noon.

 

Location:         Community Trail - Trail Start (across from Dan’s Pub)

Cost: $15.00/person - children under 15 & dogs are Free!

Date: Saturday, September 23


There will be a check-in for all runners (to get your bib etc.) on Friday, September 22, 5:00 - 7:00pm, at the Recreation Centre or at the site on the morning of the run from 7:00 - 8:00am.  All runners MUST be checked in by 8:00 am, no exceptions.  If you do not wish to arrive early, be sure to check-in the night prior. We are looking for volunteers, please contact Krista at kpearson@northernrockies.ca or 250-774-2541 ext. 2082 if you can help. 

Spookerama 

October 31

Bring the whole family to the Spookerama Festival this year! There is something for everyone! Your free
admission includes:

  • Access to the Haunted House (children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult as it is horrifying!)
  • Crafts
  • A fortune telling booth
  • Carnival games with great prizes
  • Face painting
  • A free concession with hot dogs, popcorn, chips and beverages

Afterwards, head outside to enjoy the fireworks and hot chocolate!

Cost: Free!
